Inspiration

The mini collection is inspired by the 1950s New Yorker Magazine also known as the "fifteen-cent comic paper". The classic illustrations and patina color palette pushes for a timeless look while maintaining the Norah East Coast aesthetic.

PADDING THE MANNEQUIN

DRAPING TECHNIQUES

To encourage working with different body types, we were tasked with padding our mannequins. Using quilt batting and shoulder pads, the measurements of the hourglass model were mimicked. Key areas such as the bust, waist, and butt were subject to most padding.
